COBOL/MVS (COBOL/370) Using the Debug Tool

LENGTH OF COURSE:
3 Days

DESCRIPTION: This course will give the student an understanding of the capabilities of the Language Environment Debug Tool in a COBOL/MVS setting. Major features of the tool are introduced with the emphasis being on the extensive use of hands-on examples to deepen the understanding of the product.

PREREQUISITES: Students should have a working knowledge of COBOL/MVS and a CALLED/CALLING program structure. In addition, students should have a basic understanding of TSO/ISPF.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture and Hands-On Labs (when/where available).
