DESCRIPTION: This course provides a comprehensive evaluation of the PowerBuilder Rapid Application Development (RAD) Tool. Students will gain the skills necessary to build applications with this powerful development tool. Each student will design, build and create EXEcutables that will run on their workstation.

With the growth of GUI based computing, PowerBuilder is regarded as an industry leader. See how your organization can benefit from RAD. In addition to learning PowerBuilder, students will evaluate interfaces to various database products, including: DB2, SYBASE, Oracle, and others.


PREREQUISITES: Some knowledge of Personal Computers, Application Program Development, and Microsoft Windows.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Demonstrations, and Labs (when/where available).
