DESCRIPTION: This course is a comprehensive introduction to Relational Databases and Products. Topics include Data Structures, Relational Databases, and Tables, Types of Relational Databases, Relational Architecture, Relational Components, and Relational Database Administration. In addition, students will be introduced to Structured Query Language and Query Tools.

PREREQUISITES:Some knowledge of data processing concepts and facilities.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Exercises, and Labs (when/where available).

This course is designed for Users, and Technicians that need to understand Relational Database concepts and facilities. The course can accommodate an Audience that varies from Application Users to System Programmers.
