DESCRIPTION: OS/390 SMP/E is a tool designed to manage the installation of software products on your OS/390 system and to track the modifications you make to those products. This course is designed to give the system programmer's the knowledge needed to install and support software using SMP/E. Beginning with basic concepts, through advanced topics, this course is a must for all technicians that interact with system software. .

PREREQUISITES: A basic knowledge of OS/390 terminology and concepts.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Exercises, and Labs (when/where available).
