Networking in the IBM SNA Environment

LENGTH OF COURSE:
3-5 Days

DESCRIPTION: Discussions will include updating current IBM networks based strictly on Systems Network Architecture (SNA) into a growing open systems market.

This course will offer strategies for bridging an organization's network structure that uses Systems Application Architecture (SAA) and System Network Architecture (SNA) with TCP/IP and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) in the context of IBM platforms.

PREREQUISITES: None
INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Demonstrations, and Hands-On Labs (when/where available).
