Telecommunications, An Introduction

DESCRIPTION: This course includes discussions on the evolution of telecommunication technologies, their uses, and their impact on an organization. Students will review telecommunications terminology and the use of modern telecommunications facilities.

Students will be introduced to the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the structure of the telecommunications industry.


PREREQUISITES: None

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Demonstrations, and Hands-On Labs (when/where available).
