TSO/ISPF, An Introduction

LENGTH OF COURSE:

DESCRIPTION: The course teaches the student the fundamentals of TSO/ISPF. The course begins with the basics of screen navigation and concludeds with advanced techniques and features. Students will learn how to use and navigate thought the numerious panel to efficiently define and manage data sets. Emphasis is planced on ISPF edit and utility functions, with supporting information on TSO processing. In addition, students will be given an overview of JCL, Job Submission and Review.

PREREQUISITES: Some knowledge of data processing concepts and facilities.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: A combination of Lecture, Exercises, and Labs (when/where available).

This course is designed for data processing personnel who will be creating data sets, modifying data sets, creating CLISTs, or doing system modification.
