DESCRIPTION: Since its introduction into the marketplace, Microsoft Windows NT has become a major player in the field of network operating systems. Windows NT is a high-end scaleable client-server solution, appropriate for both small local area networks as well as large enterprise networks. This course provides an introduction to the installation, configuration, management, and daily operation of an NT network.

PREREQUISITES: Basic understanding of DOS and PC's. No networking experience is required.

INSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES: Using an NT network installed in the classroom, the instructor will demonstrate how to perform operations on the NT server and workstation. Students will be able to observe most network management tasks.
